Sports Photography

Sports photography has quickly become one of my favorite parts of being behind the camera. There’s something about standing on the sidelines and knowing that a moment will happen once, in a fraction of a second, and then it’s gone. The intensity, determination, excitement, celebration, and emotion are what make it so special to me.

I love capturing more than just the action. I want to capture the moments that tell the story of the athlete and the game: the focus before the play, the celebration after a big moment, the encouragement from teammates, the emotion on the sidelines, and all the little moments in between.

Sports have a way of creating memories that athletes and their families will carry with them long after the final whistle. Being able to freeze those moments in time and give families photographs they can look back on is something I truly love.
